Uncover Your Voice and Take the Lead in European Democracy!
Were you new to the voting booth, feeling uncertain about what’s next? Or are you gearing up for your turn in the next EU elections? Do you aspire to understand how laws are crafted in the EU? Or do you view the European Union as too complicated and distant, and feeling disconnected from it? Instead of remaining on the sidelines, it’s time to step up and to raise your voice.
Introducing “Raising Europe’s Stars,” a project crafted with young people like you in mind.
This initiative presents you with the opportunity to delve into crucial topics like sustainable energy supply, security and defense, EU expansion, or migration. From examining joint solutions to grasping alliances on the European scale, you’ll acquire invaluable perspectives on the urgent issues confronting Europe today.
Starting in September 2024, you will engage in small group discussions in your school or community, exploring these topics with your friends, guided by mentors. Following this, you’ll have an opportunity to network and discuss EU matters with other teens in your area, and finally to simulate law-making alongside students from France, Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic.
Fourteen participants from each country will convene in Germany for debates. Over three days in Mainz, you’ll step into the political arena. Travel, accommodation, and the program will all be taken care of.
Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to become a leader in your community and help shape the future of our continent. Reach out to us via email to get involved today and get ready to raise your game!
