Number of participants: We are looking for 6 people per country, including 1 leader, making a total of 6 participants per country.

About the project:
Hello! We are young photographers from Poland, and we would like to invite young people from Czechia, Romania, Portugal, and Finland to join us in exploring the beauty of Bytom City. During this project, we will focus on the city’s historical and post-industrial heritage, its connection to environmental issues, and the inspiring social activism taking place there.
The aims of the exchange are as follows:
– Developing skills and knowledge related to digital and analogue photography.
– Raising awareness about our impact on the natural environment.
– Learning about social activism and the local cultural heritage of Bytom City and the Silesia region.
– Developing intercultural competences and understanding other European cultures.
– Meeting new people and fostering international friendships.
– Creating a final photo exhibition!
What to bring:
Please remember to pack comfortable clothes and shoes suitable for both indoor and outdoor workshops, depending on the weather. Slippers are also recommended. Since this is a photography project, if you have a camera, please bring it along. Any type of camera is welcome, as we aim to explore various photography techniques. Additionally, a laptop would be useful for the main activities. Our team will also be taking photos during the project, and we will share them online with all partner organizations before departure.
For our intercultural evening activities, we encourage you to bring traditional food, drinks, and souvenirs from your respective countries.
Insurance & health issues:
Participants are responsible for obtaining their own insurance coverage. If you require any medication, please ensure that you bring an adequate supply with you, as we do not provide medicines or cover insurance fees.
Food:
If you have any special dietary requirements, allergies, or specific needs, please inform us in advance. It is essential for us to be aware of any dietary restrictions to ensure everyone’s well-being.
