Katarzyna Gattnar

I first came into contact with Petrklíč about ten years ago when I was studying and trying to volunteer wherever I could. I got involved in youth initiatives first as a member and then as a leader. Informal education got me excited at the Cross-Border Volunteer Centre – for the first time someone in the classroom asked for my opinion and allowed discussions to arise. I didn’t want to learn any other way and I wanted to spread it further, so I took a one-year course from the Non-Formal Education Association and started creating my own projects.

In Petrklíč I work as a lecturer, create community events, participate in the preparation of the Tea Festival, create in international projects, coordinate volunteers. I bring safe space, creativity and kindness.
